I am the Vice President and General Manager of one of our company’s strategic manufacturing and supply sites, in Mount Vernon, Indiana. As a member of the Americas Supply Leadership team, I have a primary focus of leading the development and execution of our strategy for making life changing medicines for the patients we serve reliably, sustainably and with quality. It is an honor to work with the 850 employees in Mount Vernon to use cutting edge technologies to formulate and pack billions of doses of our oral solid dosage medicines annually, which are then delivered on time to patients in more than 65 countries.

As technology continues to redefine the potential of our workforce, I enjoy connecting with the next generation of talent to inspire them about the impact of digitisation and automation on careers in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.  Through my discussions with early career professionals and engaging with professional societies, I am constantly reminded that our work can truly make a difference in the lives of millions of patients worldwide as we accelerate towards more innovative and intelligent supply chains.

Prior to my current role, I led our manufacturing facility in Germany. In addition to having a successful track record throughout my 13 years within our Global Operations function leading global and regional cross-functional teams, I have also sat on both the Global Supply Chain & Strategy Leadership team and the Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Supply Leadership team to drive the synchronised end-to-end supply of our portfolio.

Before joining AstraZeneca, I held numerous roles with increasing responsibility in Operations and Supply Chain Management across FTSE 100 companies spanning both consumer goods and specialty chemicals industries. I hold a master’s degree in chemical engineering and an MBA from Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom.
